Distance Treatment
Healing Across Space
Over the years, as my Energy Medicine practice has grown and evolved, it has become clear—both to my clients and myself—that distance healing sessions are every bit as effective as in-person visits to my clinic.
Research consistently shows effects of positive intentions, such as prayer, on recipients’ physiology. The most frequently cited study was conducted by a cardiac surgeon in San Francisco. The prayed-for patients clearly recovered much better, with fewer complications, than the controls.
We imagine that focused treatments administered by a trained professional could produce even better, more consistent results. Recently, several controlled studies have recently been conducted with certified BodyTalk practitioners. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of distant BodyTalk treatments in reducing pain and inflammation.
We are continually evolving our understanding of the relationship between matter and energy. Based on an extensive body of scientific evidence, physicist Claude Swanson has developed a plausible theory of the physics involved in distance healing. His theory details how waves of energy and information, which depart from the sender in all directions, may be refocused on the intended receiver (see Life Force: The Scientific Basis).
